CENTRAL...AND SOUTHERN OKLAHOMA...AND WESTERN NORTH TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...THROUGH TONIGHT...

THUNDERSTORM OUTLOOK...
THUNDERSTORMS ARE NOT EXPECTED THROUGH TONIGHT.

DISCUSSION...
HEAT AND HUMIDITY WILL INCREASE TODAY AS A STORM SYSTEM MOVES
ACROSS THE NORTHERN ROCKIES. INSTABILITY WILL REMAIN LOW HOWEVER
AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE UNLIKELY.

PROBABILITY TABLE...
VALID THROUGH 700 AM CDT MONDAY SEP 6.
PROBABILITY OF THUNDERSTORMS OCCURRING IN THE
NWS NORMAN COUNTY WARNING AREA...LESS THAN 5 PERCENT.

OTHER HAZARDOUS WEATHER...
ALTHOUGH VEGETATION ACROSS THE REGION IS GREEN OR PARTIALLY
GREEN...FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS WILL BE WORTHY OF ATTENTION IN
NORTHWEST OKLAHOMA THIS AFTERNOON. HUMIDITY WILL FALL TO NEAR 20
PERCENT AS WINDS WILL AVERAGE 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS OVER 35 MPH.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...

THUNDERSTORM OUTLOOK...
A WEAK COLD FRONT ENTERING NORTHWEST OKLAHOMA MAY PRODUCE ISOLATED
THUNDERSTORMS MONDAY EVENING. THE CHANCE OF RAIN WILL INCREASE
THROUGHOUT THE REGION FROM TUESDAY INTO THURSDAY...AS TROPICAL
MOISTURE DEEPENS BENEATH SOUTHWESTERLY UPPER LEVEL FLOW. A SUB
TROPICAL DISTURBANCE IN THE SOUTHWESTERN GULF OF MEXICO IS ALSO
FORECAST TO LIFT NORTHWARD INTO TEXAS AND OKLAHOMA...AND THIS COULD
LEAD TO A MORE ORGANIZED RAIN EVENT BY WEDNESDAY. GIVEN THE QUALITY
OF LOW LEVEL MOISTURE EXPECTED...HEAVY RAIN AND LOCAL FLOODING COULD
BECOME A CONCERN WEDNESDAY INTO THURSDAY.

OTHER HAZARDOUS WEATHER...
FIRE WEATHER CONCERNS WILL BE ELEVATED MONDAY ACROSS WESTERN
OKLAHOMA. WINDS WILL BECOME BREEZY TO WINDY...WHILE GULF MOISTURE
MAKES A GRADUAL RETURN TO INCREASE THE AFTERNOON HUMIDITY.
